Yes. We will follow the guidelines of the Code of Practice in relation to access to land and or premises.

How much compensation will I receive?
The Rates for mast interference are part of an ESB Code of practice and have been negotiated and agreed with major agricultural groups such as the IFA. The rates are updated each year in line with the Consumer Price Index.

How do I apply for compensation?
When do I get my payment?
Payments are made in the first quarter of each year for electricity lines of 38KV and above. Payments are made by electronic funds transfer direct to your bank account.
I have ESB poles on my land am I entitled to compensation?
Yes, if the bases of steel electricity masts or wooden poles interfere with your everyday practices you are entitled to a compensation payment.
