Multi-unit development

My connections

Before you begin

You have chosen to apply for a multi-unit development. This application applies to connections of two or more houses, apartments, or commercial/industrial units.

In order to provide you with a valid quote, the information in your application must be accurate.

Project time frame & typical pricing

  • Once you have all the documentation required, the application process should only take 10 to 15 minutes.
  • We aim to provide a quotation and development agreement within 90 business days of receiving a completed application.
  • Connection costs are calculated based on standard CRU approved charges detailed in the document Charges for connection to the distribution system PDF | 178 KB. More information about connection charges can be found in the ESB Networks DAC Statement of Charges PDF | 538 KB.
  • For connections that support large electrical loads, it can take some time to establish the most appropriate connection method, determine costs and carry out the work required. Project timeframes will vary depending upon the extent of the work required, material lead times, and the customer’s works schedule.
While we will make every effort to meet these target timeframes, you may experience delays due to current high demand. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
