How to submit your meter reading
Create an online account
Creating an online account with ESB Networks will allow you access to a range of services, with it you can:
- Submit a meter reading
- Find your Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN)
- View power outage status at your property
- Access the smart meter data for your property
What do you need?
To create an online account with ESB Networks, you'll need the following:
- Your MPRN number - you can find your MPRN on your electricity bill. If you don’t know your MPRN, you can use our 'Find My MPRN Service' on your ESB Networks Account.
- A mobile number - to protect your data, we will ask you to complete a two-factor authentication process.
- Most importantly, please make sure that your name and mobile number match the name and number used on your supplier account.
Submit a meter reading without creating an account
If you wish, you can provide a meter reading without creating an account.
