Beat the Peak programme
What is the Beat the Peak programme?
In 2022 ESB Networks introduced Beat the Peak, as part of the National Network, Local Connections Programme. Beat the Peak is a collection of initiatives for homes and businesses to try to move energy consumption away from times that put strain on the network, towards times of cleaner supply.

Discover and sign up to our latest campaign - learn how and when you can best use your energy throughout the day. This is open to all customers, regardless of your electricity supplier.

Learn more and sign up to our scheme where eligible commercial electricity users can get paid to reduce their electricity demand during peak times on business days.

Earn rewards for taking control of your electricity usage
ESB Networks' 'Is This a Good Time?' programme is offering participants the opportunity to get rewarded for taking part in 'Energy events' when prompted to do so. By taking part in these events, you will not only be contributing to a more sustainable future but also earning rewards for taking action.
