Introduction of ESB Networks Connection Documentation Online
At ESB Networks we are delivering the electricity network for Ireland’s clean electric future by connecting electricity to homes, businesses, and communities across Ireland.
To make it easier for you to do business with us, we are pleased to announce some important changes we are making to improve our online application process for New Connections.
In October 2023 you will access your Quotation and Connection/Development Agreement for your connection(s) online. In addition, you will be able to sign and return your Connection/Development Agreement, safely and securely, via your ESB Networks account.
You can register for an ESB Networks Account here by selecting Register Now. If you are already registered, you can click here and choose Sign In.
Please note: The email address you use for creating your ESB Networks Account will allow you to access your Quotation and Connection Agreement for your connection(s). We will use it to notify you by email once your new connection documentation
is available to view via your ESB Networks Account.
As you have an Agent/Contractor applying on your behalf for your new or existing connection(s), you will have to provide them with a ‘Notification of Authorisation’ indicating that they have your approval to do so. You can find a sample content ‘Notification of Authorisation’ below. Company headed paper should be used in the case of Commercial or Development applications.
Transition Period
After the changes are made to the online application process, there will be a transition period, during which we will continue to issue connection documentation by post.
After the transition period we will notify customers by email once their new connection documentation is available to view online via their ESB Networks Account.
