ESB Networks have introduced digital notifications for planned outages. Sometimes we need to interrupt your supply to carry out essential work on the electricity network , this is called a planned outage. If we have to interrupt your electricity supply for essential work, we will always send you a postcard at least two days in advance of the planned outage date. In addition to the postcard, we may now send you updates on the planned outage via SMS. Digital notifications will provide customers with timely notifications on planned power outages before, during, and when power is restored.  

ESB Networks would like to remind all customers to be vigilant of fraudulent phishing attempts. ESB Networks will never send you text messages, calls or emails with a link to a log in page to a website which asks you to share personal details such as bank details, one-time passcodes or personal information.
