A total of 1.9 million smart meters have now been installed in Ireland by ESB Networks, and we are continuing the rollout across the country.

Anyone with a smart meter is now able to take more control of their usage, gain better insights into how they’re using their electricity and even pick a better tariff with their electricity supplier based on the knowledge that they can gain from their usage data through their ESB Networks Online Account.

Setting up an account is easy. Simply register here. An account gives details of daily, weekly, and monthly usage information.

To date there have been more than 1.6 million logins to the Online Account.
