Changing your level of Supply
Each connection point on the electricity network has a Maximum Import Capacity (MIC) associated with it. We design our network to provide you with an electricity supply that is in accordance with the specified MIC.
Increasing or Decreasing Supply
If you recently added a large extension to your home or added electrical equipment at your premises that requires extra power, then your current MIC may no longer be sufficient for your needs. An increased MIC may be required in such cases.
If you removed some electrical equipment from your business premises, your current MIC level should also be reviewed, as you may need to apply for an MIC reduction. Charges may apply.
